Ball physics arent cosmetic. Its the difference between how a looks and how a game plays. I think we all want a game that 'feels' like cricket over one that just looks pretty. To me BL07 and EA07 feel more like baseball than cricket.
Sure the placement of a batsmen feet will make it look more realistic but like said many times before the player animations are hand done and not motion captured - so wont be perfect. I think they are really well done and would be very satisfied with them being used as is in the first release.
