Personally think that's not a great move coz with that SR he cannot be accommodated to hit quick runs in the death overs plus if I know @VC the slogger 's rating technique, he will be rated lower if batting out of place.

I can only hope our team doesn't have to rely on him having to score quickly from No. 8 with Klusener and Dev right above him.

The later rounds are a lot better as many can’t pick players from one country due to the rules and you‘ll always have some options as most teams fill their roles (my initial first choice pick still remains available in ‘99 for instance). You should have been here when we were squabbling in the first two decades.

This looks phenomenal IMO (yes I intend on using Botham as a bowling all-rounder).

I am happy you haven't got a prime Kumble/Walsh/Botham or even Gilly in the side otherwise nobody stood a chance. Need to be wary of King Viv, Kapil and Zulu though.

I’m quite surprised that @Aislabie didn’t go for Gibbs in 2003 too, the only reason why I opted to leave him out in ‘99 was because his 2003 performance was ridiculous.

I presumed he would pick Gibbs and had Symonds as my backup but then realized Murali was still on offer
