Well, soon enough we'll be talking about the 2010 season. Expect this to be one of the best seasons is history. Pretty much all clubs will be a contender for the flag. I expect the likes of WCE, Melbourne and Freo to perform better and push for a top eight spot. But I also expect teams like Cats, Saints and Pies to stay up to the top.

My Prediction
  1. Hawthorn (Winning back the flag with all their players back)
  2. St.Kilda (Another close grand final, could win it)
  3. Bulldogs (With Hall, could be a dark horse
  4. Brisbane (What a forward line!)
  5. Adelaide (They never seem to be bad)
  6. Geelong (Could struggle a bit more)
  7. Collingwood (Pretty average team, but good teamwork)
  8. West Coast (C'mon boys, time to shine, Nic Nat FFS!)
  9. Essendon (Not good enogh youngsters)
  10. Carlton (Without Fev, they're screwed despite having Judd)
  11. Fremantle (Could become more of a threat with their good youngsters)
  12. North Melbourne (Will find it hard without any real stars)
  13. Melbourne (Will be getting better)
  14. Sydney (Struggle heaps with their old team)
  15. Port Adelaide (Massive failure)
  16. Richmond (Meh, they live down there now)

Eagles fixture is pretty much the same as last season.

Why would the AFL go with a Carlton V.S Richmond season opener? Should be something like Collingwood V.S Geelong or something with Colingwood in it.

I reckon Melbourne will be 10th - 14th this season, hopefully Watts and Jurrah mature further and hopefully Scully will get a run in the first team as well. We are most likely going to be taking Jack Trengove for pick 2 as well, will be interesting to see how he goes.

Scully and Trengrove would most likely- if not shoe-in, to be in the Top 5 in the Draft. Scully`d be good for the Melbourne midfield, and Trengrove`d really fit in with the forward line.

Hoping the Eagles start to get up towards the finals this year.

The more I hear about Trengove the more excited I get.. the kid sounds awesome, apparently all the commentators think he will be a 200+ game AFL player, and people that watch the SANFL reckon they would take him over Bryce Gibbs any day of the week. Cameron Schwab is down watching as well so I reckon there's a good chance we've got him - he's already dominating in the SANFL up against full grown men at just age 18 (he plays on a team with Toby Thurstans, etc.).

It`d be stupid if Melbourne didnt get him, with all the early draft picks' they`ve got. Future looks bright for the Dees!

Well, in a weeks time the NAB cup starts. I'm looking forward to seeing the young guns play.

No overseas games this year. Apparently Punter wants the Kangaroos to play in India.
