During the matches the camera was sometimes portrayed on a guy with a woman sitting next to her. She had a baseball cap with a big T on it.

I just checked out who that guy is and I see his co-owner of Texas Rangers: Nolan Ryan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This guy seems to have an impressive career as a pitcher. He played 27 (!) seasons and kept on playing till he was 46 years old. He pitched balls above 100 mph, has 5.714 strikeouts and is the leader of no-hitters (7).

And discouraging members from posting 'commentary' in match threads, rather than genuine discussion. Comments simply mentioning what has occured without any contribution to further discussion will be removed, and members who constantly make little attempt to make thoughtful posts will have their privileges of posting in the Cricket Discussion forum removed.

We all flinging know who Nolan Ryan is, we don't need you coming in these threads now and giving us the cricinfo and wikipedia ball by ball.

Just because they kicked you out of the cricket section for the most useless posts in history does not mean we want you in here.

Yeah he's being annoying. I tend to think that he's deliberately "playing dumb" about baseball, to get attention.

Here's an example:

The camera showed some guy in the crowd sitting next to a woman with a hat. So I decided to look him up. His name is "Allan Border". Did you know that he used to actually be the captain of the Australian cricket team? And sometimes he got scores over 100 in a single inning! He is also on Wikipedia.

fearsome tweak. I left cricket section. And now he is here too. He not just in baseball, but also in NFL and NBA too.

How could he check him out? I don't remember them showing his name on the tv. They just showed him once or twice.

About how I find that guy's name: I just went to the Texas Rangers wikipedia website and his name was written there. And they showed his face a couple of times. Especially near the end of the 1st and 2nd match.

Tonight is the third match. The pitchers are going to be Jonathan Sanchez and Colby Lewis, so I am interested how these guys will pitch during the match.

Giants (my pick to win it from the start of the series) are on the hill, one win away from winning it all. Lee vs. Lincecum rematch tonight and I think San-Fran have the beating of Lee. They found a way to get to him in game 1 and I think he is roughed up from that. Whilst they'd like to win in at home, I reckon the Giants take it here.
