B) i am sure this is a hardware problem nothing to do with software ,

but if it is not working on keyboard the try disabling ur gamepad before playing c2k4

lol done that also rick took out the usb gamepad tried it with just keyboard same thing only the six hit button doesnt work even the look left/right work ....totally stumped on this prob as i see love in your eyes etc etc in other post about this cannot find a solution to it ummm i do have old gamepad with a port skt but canot connect it as the only skt that fits has my monitor in it

B) hmm try borrowing another gamepad from ur freinds which works and see if it works ,if it works then ur gamepad is crap,if it doesnt ,then u can always come back here for help :

i rick they keyboard is still same regarding the six hit key...even if i take the gamepad out still no remapping works or the default...key ....yes my gamepad works fine on all other games including ea sports mvp baseball and ice hockey...and kelly slaters surfing...and the keyboard /mouse works fine for all others like call of duty ..medal of honour etc etc ..its onlt this game and that particular key it appears....it has in my opinion have to be a game fault as others have same prob with there diff gamepads and diff keyboards

B) i havent tried this game with a game pad but i dont think there will be any problem in the game itself ,maybe ur gamepad is not supported in this game

as u mentioned ur game pad is very old one

hi rick naw my gamepad is only about a year old...its the vid card thats old lol......i thank you for all the suggestions and others i guess its not going to work on my keyboard or gamepad ...unless they do a fix....odd that all the other keys work cept the six hit 1 ....i cannot take all my usb connections out as i have a broadband net connection on usb as well lol....as well as keyboard scanner and digi cam connectors lol...plus the gamepad...so i guess i give it a few weeks see if a fix if not exchange the game for beyond divinity lol lol..thanks again for your help

I have two controllers.

Your problem might be because you have two controllers you might need to press a senosry button or something like to make sure in the game the button numbers respond to the right sensory field if you know what I mean. I had the same problem but it worked for me. Try reading the Manual aswell. (troubleshooting)

This problem is really simple.

You need to think of the hit six button as an add power button. You press it with another button. It works best with the advance down the pitch button. On your sidewinder remap one of the shift buttons to 'hit six' and hold this down while you press a direction and advance button. Watch the ball sail over the boundary!

ahhhhhh ty philt now why didnt i think of that lol.....i knew it was extra power etc but it just said hit the six hit button lol...it works just fine now thankies......ive not encountered any other bugs but ive been only on the 1 day matches so far as couldnt get any further without the six hit lol...but i like the game...not encountered rain as yet ....

The 'Six Hit' key will only function when your player has enough confidence to play trhe shot.

B) i told u before it could be a very small problem !!!lol why dint i think of that before, : maybe it is cuz we all think that members who play c2k4 mush have already played c2k2 so they know that it is the power boost .
