How often do people experience outfield catches (not in slips)?

In my leg spin career so far I haven’t seen any both off my own bowling and when watching other bowlers in the team. Always seems to fall short?

Would decreasing the AI striker timing mean more attacking shots could potentially lead to more catches?

I've seen plenty, especially at point, square leg and at cover (as a pace bowler career)

I had a catch yesterday at the Waca, deep cover! Career ODI against SL. Should've recorded it:yes

So it can happen haha! Maybe I just need to bowl it in the right areas!

Have you changed your sliders out of interest? And this being in career mode?

Yeah I only really play career mode and my sliders are wicket chance, bowling quality and striker timing all on 55, with run rate on 65. I cant remember how it went down, but I think it was a full cutter/inswing down off that he just decided to try and drive legside and obviously didn't carry.

Update - I’ve just taken my first outfield wicket caught at mid-wicket. Clipped off the legs in the air; a genuine dismissal.

Let’s hope for many more.
