Pakistan in South Africa

well on cricinfo it says that he might miss a few matches in the world cup if he is found guilty, im talking about Afridi.

also Malik providing some good suport for Yousuf, they are just picking off singles but Pakistan will need their big hitters to up the run rate towards the end.

well match called off after rain...some good hitting in the end put up a decent total but doesn't matter now...2 matches remaining and the team has to win both of them to win the series...

49/4 after 22 overs this is absolutely horrible for Pakistan, atleast they have Malik there and once again the openers fail especially Kamran.

Even if they do, I do not think South Africa can be stopped. They are number 1 favourites of the World Cup for me.

I'd blame Akmal for not wearing spikes :p.

After the loss, a really good way in which South Africa has bounced back. However in the World Cup you can't lose a Final and bounce back for "Final 2" though. It would also be nice to see some of the other players given a run in the last game just so the selectors and the public can have a educated notion on the final World Cup sqaud.

Pakistan just didn't turn up at all today and their whole performance was best summed up by the fact that their best player by a mile bowled the first ball of the innings as 4 wides. Full credit to Safrica though; Everyone bar Hall bowled absolutely brilliantly and 6 fine catches from Boucher who I consider to be the best gloveman in the world.

The same old Subcontinental-South African Story.
It happens with India,Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

P.S-Bangladesh has not been considered :D

Well this entire ODI series has'nt helped Pakistan in anyway to pick a solid squad for the WC. Too many injured players, inconsistency, problems with the seaming ball (Dont expect that on the pitches in the Westindies) and no solid openers. All of these problems cant be dealt with in such a short period of time. Lets see, what Pakistan can dig up at the WC.

It's helped South Africa reach there true point of domination with some of the best bowling figures you could get in a ODI and both openers look so strong.

Interesting that if South Africa win the next game against Pakistan and Australia lose the series against NZ, SA can be first seeded at the WC. :O

Well no, considering the seedings for the World Cup were worked out more than a year ago.

Heres hoping they have peaked to early and the usual Smith will return in the WC cause if this Smith is at the WC there could be some serious damage.

heh Asif included for the last match, i dont know whats more important for them. Wining this match or Asif being healthy for the WC.

EDIT: and what else is new. Pakistan opener fail again, Younis has basicly opened all the innings for Pakistan in this tour. somthing really needs to be done about the opening problem.
