Mumbai Vs Mohali

This next game of the tournament is between Mumbai and Mohali. Mumbai won the toss and elected to bat on a flat hard track. The first over saw Tendulkar hit 14 off the first 5 balls but was back in the shed after the sixth. caught and bowled by Lee. There were alot of cameos down the order by Bosman, Shah, Pollock and Rehane. But the show belonged to Jayasuriya. belting his 100 off 54 balls and finishing not out on 118(61).


Pathan did his best to contain the batters but sreesanth and Lee got hammered. 2 wickets for Pathan is a good job, but a whopping Mumbai total of 5/221 means he and many others will need to show off with the bat. They can deffinantly do it as this is 20/20.

Mumbai Vs Mohali

Mohali's run chase started solidly enough, going at 10 an over chasing the hige 221. than two quick wickets by Malinga put them at 2/43. Than Mohali struggled to keep up with the run rate from than on, thanks to really tight bowling by Pollock and Malinga. Yuvraj tried to rebuild with 37 from 32, but had to hurry along getting trapped in front by Malinga. They ended up 8/144 after the 20 overs. Thanks to a great 4/ by Malinga.


Man of the Match was a toss up between Jayasuriya and Malinga. But Man of the Match went to Sanath Jayasuriya for his brilliant 118.

Bangalore Vs Jaipur

Bangalore played Jaipur this Round and what a thrilling match we had. Jaipur are in good form whil Bangalore would like to double their points here.
Bangalore won the toss and elected to bat.

Jaffer and Dravid teed off and belted runs all over the place. Dravid was the first to fall out for 41(15). The run rate was than slowed by some good bowling by Langer and the spinners. Langer picked up Jaffer's wicket for 92(58). Kallis and Chanderpaul finished the innings of 2/186. This will be a tough total to chase but still possible.


Jaipur's Innings started confidentaly. with both openers adding 103 between them. Smith with another 50, out for 58(31) and Langer 45(29). Than Mohamod Yussuf hit 23(10) caught off the bowling of Kahn. He was the other only batter to get over 20. The rest of the batters struggling but condributing.
It came down to the last over, 6 runs needed.
