Yes I wish the broadcast camera would improve because

I think tge EA cricket games had a good broadcast camera because it always follows the ball but in DBC the camera is just too far from the ball.

I didn't play EA Cricket, but Ashes 2009/International Cricket 2010 had really good (broadcast) camera. It also followed the ball just as in a real match. The two games also had very good looking grass-&-ground work.

That is because of how this game is intended to be played. Unlike Ashes 2009 or the EA games, this game is`nt about one ball pitch marker and one speed meter. You have to input your controls realtime to finish the bowling action, which one would`nt be able to do if there was a TV-style almost static camera. In this game, you wouldnt be able to go through the bowling action if the camera isn`t back far enough.

I hate the current state of this forum where people are cribbing about things without even getting the point. If you all want to go back to the over-simplified crap that EA and Codemasters labelled as cricket, you are free to do so. For the first time, we have a game which has most elements of the sport correct. For the first time, we have a developer who has pushed the envelope and been ambitious.

I dont know what you mean about bowling, i am talking about batting boardcast camera angle.
I want it to feel like I am watching a cricket match on TV and that's why I always play on broadcast camera because I want see the ball more closer like on how you see it on TV.
I like the DBC series and will always support it but I am entitler to my opinion.
It just that I play this game different compare to you.

In the career mode when playing for Indian club sides all clubs are called Abbotabad by the commentators. Why this really sucks is 1, because that is not the name of the clubs actually playing in the leagues and 2, because Abbotabad is not even an Indian city or place. It is in Pakistan so it is truly infuriating to listen to the commentators repeteadely calling all club sides Abbotabad. Please change this if possible.

Also, I have an issue with the broadcast camera immediately cutting to the far back camera the moment a stroke is played or the batsman misses the ball. This does not allow a full view of the shot played or the direction in which the ball is hit. This was not the case in DBC 14 where the broadcast camera followed the stroke from the front camera and even when you missed a ball it followed the action till the ball reached the wicketkeeper's gloves. And it is the standard routine in cricket coverage too these days so the sudden change in angle can make batting unappealing as you simply cannot admire the shot or for that matter the direction of the hit in the field. Please look into this too.

Also, as some other members have already pointed a more comprehensive career stats would be really welcome. Having no column for average and 50s and 100s is a real shame as this has been a part of cricket stats forever.
Moreover, another small area that is lagging is the sound fx particularly the ball hitting the bat. The crisp sound of shots is replaced by a soft thud which simply fails to capture the timing and power of the stroke.

- We really need the ability to find out what the bowler bowls esp in career mode. There's currently no way of knowing the spin bowler facing you is either left/right handed or bowls finger/wrist spin.
- fix the fielders. They move like sloths.
- fix the throws back to the wicket. We shouldn't be seeing the WK or bowlers doing horizontal dives to stop balls thrown at the stumps.
- batting. There's already enough said on this.
- bowlers should rarely switch over the wicket for around the wicket unless its Mitchell Starc!
- Fix the close in fielders. They're the bloody same as DB14 - you can smash a ball into their bodies and they're good to go. BS - they're there for fends or blocks.
- fix the BS superhuman WK's that already know where you're going to hit the ball when trying to late cut a spinner
- We need to see the run rate or required run rate
- we need to know how to improve our stamina

The stamina will update once you simulate a match. They are working on a fix atm. So if you were to simulate the last match of the season you would get the backlog of all your matches.

One completely glaring thing I missed out in my post is give us more series options for tours! I wanted to recreate the Ashes Tour next year but I couldn't add in a Triangular Series.

Commentary needs fixing. I played an over without losing a wicket & made few runs, but the commentator says 'that's a wicket maiden.'

This should be resolved, but the fix won't impact existing careers.

Try adding a '3 team 1 day league' to your tour by pressing the 'add competition' button when viewing the tour calendar.
