Patches

Ok guys, i just got the PC version of C2004, and wanted to know what patches should i install, and where to get them from???

Do i need to install 4 or 5 patches or will i just need to do 1??

Probably you should just play the game as it is at the moment. After you start to get good at the game, you could then install Ravi's latest patch which will make the game more hard but more realistic.

Also you could try Sam's .exe patch, which fixes the lineup bug and a few other small bugs in the game. But make sure you backup the orginal files, since these 2 patches are still in early development.

Cheers Mate, so basically what your saying is, install the 1st patch(ie Ravi's Patch) then install Sam's .EXE patch??
Sorry when it comes to the technical stuff i got nuthing...

Sam's patch is an .exe and Ravi's patch updates the .gob file. So they don't affect each other and you'll be fine installing them in any order.

I wouldn't install the AI patch until you've played for a bit and found the game easy. Kits and bats are also worth getting as is an updated roster.pak (see the roster updates thread)

yes if you are like me and cannot be bothered to edit the roster yourself, and edit default line ups etc, then Colin's updated roster pak is the one to get for sure - E.g people like Warne and Klusener are included.
