i any of you read the herald sun today in australia, you will see an article about sledging, where they interviewed Adam Gilchrist. He said they only dish out what they receive
ah what a hypocrite! [/b]
I don't see how he can be a hypocrite, a hyprocrite is when some1 says something is bad and they would never do it, then they do it. Gilchrist admitted that if he gets sledges he'll do it back, or vice versa. It's just a part of the game though, so i don't see why every1 makes a big deal about it. ;)

I think it depends what the sledging is. When it crosses over into personal insults or racist insults, it should be stopped.

B) i dont think that pathan must have said anythhing to martyn

cuz he is very week in english, and even the third umpire said they dint find anything that shows that words were exchanged

It was his actions that got him in trouble

B) he only clapped him on his way out whats so bad in that .

compare that to ponting walking down straight to the umpire and questioning his decision. in the first final

i see nothing wrong with pathan clapping him off the field, his facial expression is what got him in trouble.

I think when Ajit Agarkar bowled langer (i think) in 2001 in India and came down the track and then let out a scream of joy. that was more grounds for reporting than pathan's clapping.
