PC Champions League | 14 years and 20 seasons of statistics FINALLY up to date..

This is the AFL style. I like it

Viral's already posted a lineup but that doesn't matter because he's played the same one for every game so far.

I like that style too but we can't have an 8 team playoff in this :sarcasm

Are you going to be running the next Champions League Chewie?

Haha, I realised there was n point i that after I posted it. It's not like we have an 8 team finals here :p

Lol, I noticed Viral always posts the same line-up.
The funny thing when he did it in the NZPL finals was, it wasn't the best line-up.
For some reason he plays Jaya as a specialist batsmen, and plays Darren Broom ahead of Fulton.

JUST look at half of the AFL play-offs:

1 home...........................................winner home
v....................loser home.......................v
2 away
..........................v..........................loser away
3 home
v...................winner away
4 away

I think I'll let someone else do it cos I'm doing the EPL next.

You can do it if you want :)

Darren Broom's done pretty well so far for some reason too :/

And Greg Morgan isn't the best option either but he's been economical.

And Viral didn't play Shane Watson at all throughout the tournament

Yeah, if he's going to play Jaya it should be as an AR, then just ditch Morgan as he's a bit of a nothing.
Morgan done pretty good in the NZPL as well.
Darren Broom done so crap, but he kept on playing him.

I think if I was going to start a league I wouldn't jump straight into the champions league.

Darren Broom hasn't even shown his worth for Otago, he's done nothing to even deserve a spot in a squad let alone a regular in an NZPL XI

Who's picking the line-ups now?:sarcasm

But I second Viral's strange selections. When he was looking after Geelong he played Irfan Pathan at 6 and Alex Keath (batting all-rounder) at 8, then bowled Keath ahead of RTD (a crime!).

@ Dan- Yeah I know with Darren Broom, and same with Greg Morgan.
Especially when he's got someone like Fulton, with a great domestic record.

You know in RL RTD is only really a PT bowler.
In List A cricket he averages 4.8 overs a game.
In T20 cricket he averages 1.7 overs a game.
And in FC cricket he only averages 8.1 overs an innings.

That's including Netherlands where he's their main bowler, so in county cricket he bowls even less.

lol? He's still better than Keath (my point).

Well I don't even know who Keath is, so of-course I'd rate RTD's bowling higher than his, I'm just saying that he's not really a regular county bowler.
I'm guessing he's kind of like a Styris, with his bowling.
Of-course Styris is a better batsman though. :yes

Yay!
Thats a pretty high scoring affair on a poor pitch but Swann and White did it for us with good contributions from KP and Huss as well.

Yeah, Styris > ten Doeschate > Vettori (works for both batting and bowling).
