PC Champions League | 14 years and 20 seasons of statistics FINALLY up to date..

Oh gutted. With that bowling attack against that batting lineup it was always going to be tricky.

The chance to add Southampton's name to Liverpool's slipped away. Well done, Bilal. You did the EPL proud.

Ohh and the party begins in south Africa what a great victory for Centurion there Kohli Wow what a player he is a big salute to him.

Also who in their right mind would get Yuvraj Singh to bowl the final over to defend 7 runs? I'd have more confidence in Chris Martin hitting a six off the final ball to win New Zealand the World Cup.

Kevin Pietersen did that. :p

Given the match situation, there were only 2 options. Yuvraj or Yardy..

Ooooooh man,what an epic game!
Virat Kohli was THE MAN again as he unleashed a relentless assault on a substandard Southampton bowling attack that was always going to struggle in these conditions, and more so defending.
But then again, they were one good ball away from pulling it off. So,well done Varun and Bilal and take a bow Gaurav. :thumbs

What a match that was! Absolutely thriller. And the way you posted it, User was simply awesome.

Damn, that match was too close! I still have goosebumps. How more interesting could it get?! Last ball - 4 runs, and who to do it better than Kohli. Amla gave a good start, but felt the pressure, slowed down and lost to Yuvraj. De Villiers kept his cool and batted brilliantly alongside Kohli to make 57 with a partnership of 98. Both, Duminy and Gibbs' role was crucial for us, and they delivered. Bravo compensated with the bat after all the bad bowling before. Now, who am I missing? Virat Kohli - The man of the hour! With a great form all over the tournament, he led us to victory in the most important Finale. With 18 fours, 2 sixes he put up a massive 131 runs, to anti all odds and bring the trophy home.
Big party tonight. Am I listening to fireworks?
Thanks to all the supporters of our team, and well played Southampton, for a last ball fight.

Its needless to say how wonderfully you've kept the tournament going, especially doing your IPL side-by-side, User The finale presentation is epic. It was fun to read every bit of what you've put in front us. I've never experienced such an amazing thriller before. I had been stalking on your profile yesterday, and could see you took over an hour on this thread to make the first finale. That shows it all. Kudos for all that, you deserve every bit of it.

All the other good ones were used on the site before. Make do with this!

Code:
49.5 Singh to Bravo, one run, Dropped! Yardy made a big mess of that simple chance

Michael Yardy dropped a simple catch
at the most crucial stage of the match

So the match was fixed then. He dropped Bravo deliberately to get Kohli on strike to hit the winning runs.
Just kidding of course! ;)

Urgh. Kohli was great once again, but it was obviously going to be against us with that bowling attack. We got the early wickets but just couldnt dismiss Kohli and he was able to build successful partnerships again and again.

And oh Yardy..

Epic volatile run chase. Kohli, the man! Whoa! :cheers

Congrats BlitzBerg. Would have been happier if WCF won the season but Centurion Lions aren't bad too.

Thanks everyone for the appreciation and also thanks everyone involved directly/indirectly in this. Well done Bilal for reaching this far and congrats to Varun on a deserved win.
