I've 5 active players. With these transfers it will be 9, so I will have to spend 2 extra transfers to get at least 11 active players.

Anyway, like expected I am knocked out of the World Cup Mode. I had prefixed that Villa would be my captain, but because Suarez would play one day before him, I chose Suarez as captain. If he didn't generate enough points, I would make Villa my captain. But that guy had to grab a red card in the card, from where I couldn't change my player and captaincy anymore and I also got minus points for the red card. From there on I knew I wouldn't go through. And what a coincidence: Aussie1st had made Villa as captain.

Made 54 points thanks to Casillas and Villa. Shame I couldn't put either as my captain because of Suarez. Made some decent transfers though and have about 13 or 14 players in the semi's.

I just noticed a mistake in Sneijder's statistics. Today he was awarded the first goal against Brazil (the one where Felip Melo bounced with Julio Cesar), but that mistake wasn't changed in the Fantasy World Cup.

Also why wasn't van Bronckhorst given points for not conceding any goals?

I have a question though. For the next round it says I have 8 free transfers remaining. If I make all 8 of them, will I be able to make changes for the final round?

There will be a seperate transfer window for the Final and 3/4 playoff.

Before that happens you can change your team. And it's advisable to use the free transfers.

In the last three matches the Netherlands had each time a goal scored against them. So it's understandable that points were not given to van Bronckhorst for a clean sheet.

Somehow I managed to get 88 points.
Casillas 15, Villa 20 (captain), Ramos 10 and Lahm 9.
This Demichelis joker (Argentine) only got me 1 point.

ATM I have 13 players not knocked out, so with my four transfers I'll be able to take that down to nine, meaning I have 14 people who can play.
Depending on what days they play on, I may make a few free transfer that play on the first day.

I'm versing Aboutreika18 in the semis of WC mode, have never heard of him but he's coming third overall so will be a tough match.

Germany and Klose keeps me alive otherwise I would've been out of this since I don't have Villa or Casillas.

My brave choice of not picking any Argentine players, payed off! I now have only 11 players not playing the next round.

Had four out of five of the goal scorers, including Sneijder as captain, so finally managed to take over Akash and move into second spot.

Am going to make four subs which will cost me 13 points, so then Akash will go ahead of me again by 2 points, but I'll have six dudes still to play again.

With 4 players I gained 22 points. That's pretty high. But I am going to replace one player who gained 4 points. Anyway I will be playing with 8 players tomorrow.
