Sad, but true shravi. We're nowhere near having 4 PC GMOTWs, and i'll take all the blame. Pranav sends the entries by time and so does Matt puts the poll on time after i'm done, but it's me who messes. I try to put the entries at the earliest but it doesn't happen every time. It's becoming rather regular, i fear. I'm busy with my life (not mentioning all the things though) and not offending anyone, but it's pretty easy for viewers, but it's sick for me. So, I'll quit as soon as this ends. Pretty long discussions about the competition, so i guess we'll put them to rest. Pranav isn't part of the blame.

@ Shravi: I liked the idea mate, but with little tweaks, I think the format will make life much easier. Updates on that later.

And since they want the winner to decide on a theme, the winner of week 1 provides a topic for week 3 since the week 2 entries will already be up.

Yes, but the winner should be deciding Week 2's theme, since week 2's winner will get to choose Week 3's theme. That's how this goes.

Here's a solution: Provide the theme for the next week once the voting starts. Set the deadline to the day when the previous week's competition ends. So basically, you have two things going on at once.

1) Week 1 poll is put up
2) At the same time, theme for Week 2 is put up
3) Week 1 winner is decided and Week 2 entries are uploaded at the same time.

And since they want the winner to decide on a theme, the winner of week 1 provides a topic for week 3 since the week 2 entries will already be up.

Its actually a very nice suggestion I'll try to have a talk with KBC on MSN and try to implement it as soon as possible.

Few corrections to be made :
1. Change the thread title.
2. Seeing you've participated every week, so, it should be six times. You need to change that in the points table.
3. Also you should have 42 points instead of 44. You can attain a max of 10 points, and you were on 32 b'fore.

So, the next week after that, you won the week's competition and won 10 points and now 8, which makes it 28+10+8=46. And i won the competition this time, so i get 10 points, 34+10=44.

Ah! You took it the other way mate. I'll explain; Any entry/ies you've submitted for GMOTW are your works, no worries. As you know, PC is open to all. Open to anyone who uses internet. So, there are people whom we can't trust, people who rip stuff off here.

2. Since This competition's held unanimously, so that fair voting can be done, you can't put your name as a watermark in the work. That'll speak for itself, people get to know which work is who's and that leads to all other partiality stuff in voting. So by putting Either Planetcricket.net Or PC.net in short instead, as a watermark, it prevents plagiarism. Solves problems in both ways.

By Having planetcricket.org on a work doesn't mean that you didn't do it. It just prevents plagiarism. All the credit will solely be yours for the works.
