Entry 3
Rating: 8.5/10

Comment: Clearly the best wallpaper out of the entries, and it's very obvious to tell who made it. Still, I would have to say that this is one of the better efforts I have seen from said graphic artist. The text in particular is eyecatching and looks spectacular - a great choice of font for 'THE FLYING AUSTRALIAN' text and the colouring is superb on the 'Dirk Nannes' section. The text alone makes me like this wallpaper and it's really an excellent effort. As for the render and effects - I think you might have gone a little overboard with the flaming trail but it's not a terrible effort. It doesn't quite look perfect - I probably myself would've left the flames around his body alone and kept the rest of the picture dark, but that's for each and every person to decide. The colouring is excellent, however, and the flags to the right add a very subtle but good touch to the wall. Otherwise, apart from the slight overdo of the fire, the effects are excellent - I like the wireframe that has been added to the right of the render and I think the lighting is also superbly done. Keep it up - I think this is one of your better efforts. Beautiful. Congratulations.

Nobody caught my subtle messages. :(

Maybe next time.. ;) ;)

Anyway, I guess it's kinda pointless because the entries are revealed as soon as the judges feedback goes up.. but I thought it would be a good idea anyway. Wrong.

Hmm..people were suddenly wondered at the theme. Isn't surprising to see they still needed some width to work on. :p 100 pixels more to freedom. haha. good stuff guys. :)

KBC added 2 Minutes and 8 Seconds later...
