Felt it worth commenting with something really constructive to back up your point.

I liked a couple of blogs but what I've read of the others (I haven't read them all yet) there seems to be too much bias if you compare it to what you read on somewhere like cricinfo not that I expect anyone to get up to that standard obviously lol, but point out the negatives about your side not just the positives.

Although it can be good to be objective in a blog. It's primary purpose is to provide an outlet for your opinions. If your opinions are one-sided....so be it.

In my defence, I do post some absolute quality blogs on my myspace you know. Take this unfiltered one for example (I am sorry for any foul language lol);

Proffesional Footballers

The stick they got for being 'overpayed' completely pisses me off at times you know. Now i'm not denying the fact that there's too much money in football, but to question their right to deserve it is disgusting. Footballers are the world's greatest entertainers; Let's face it, what other form of entertainment gives you the same kind of unrivalled passion, determination, skill, loyalty, drama and controversy as a game of football does? Look at film stars and actors, they are on millions of pounds a year and their wallets put footballers in the shade but do we ever bemoan the fact that they are overpaid? Do we ****, because it's easier to have a go at the sportsmen isn't it? Take Bruce Willis for example, i absolutely adore this man. He gets enough money from doing one film than what i'll ever earn in a lifetime but when was the last time some fat, nobheaded journalist said he was overpayed? Never. Actors work less then footballers do. To be a proffessional footballer you need to be at the physical peak of health anf fitness. You need to mentally fit; Movie stars don't need to cope with a 50,00 seater stadiums full of people hurling abuse at them do they? No. I have more respect for any preoffessional footballer than I do for any other worker in the world. People who don't watch football as closely as I do just don't realise how much these fantastic athletes put into their sport. They don't realise that players like Stevie G and Wayne Rooney can spend months away from their families, they don't realise that they are under so much stress and pressure to do well, they don't realise how physically and mentally draining it is do they?

I don't know what provoked me to rant like this but it's about time we realised that John Terry EARNS his 100k a week. Mikel Arteta has EARNED his fancy house and car and so on and so forth. Football is the greatest form of entertainment in the world, it's the best recreational activity in the world, it's the one language that EVERY country can speak and it unites nations.

Football is not a game, it's THE game. It's the best ****ing thing there is
.

Yours was one of the ones I liked :p yeh I guess so but it's much better to read something that can consider both sides of an argument imo but I guess if someone wrote a blatantly biased article about how brilliant England were I'd like it.

I am not saying that you do, but if you have some qualms with my blog, don't hesitate to let me know so I can improve.

Manee - I like yours on the face of things. Good stories with excellent content and English. I'd maybe just scale down the size of some of your posts.

People's opinions can get a bit teadious to read after a while, so maybe just watch the length of each post. People like Aggers at the BBC can afford to write massive ones as they're always going to have an audience.

Will look to do that in the future, thanks for the tip.

Give and you shall recieve - I think that your blog is great in how it covers a large deal of topics consisely and with a great deal of sense, although I think you could spend perhaps more time expressing your views on a topic. For example:

Why do you sympathise with them and why only to an extent?

One thing that I have to compliment you on is your English and how you integrate content in a very professional way without simply listing facts.

Mine website/blog is www.2girls1cup.com

Note: IF anyone is actually dumb enough to try that link then you deserve to watch the video.

I have actually been meaning to make a blog for a while actually, i'm just not sure i'd actually keep it up long enough to make it worthwhile. Might have to start one on blogspot once my exams finish.

I have heard about that video. If you have any human decency, then you will take it down:(.

What happened to your post in the other thread where you said 'Quality over quantity'?

:p

Because India did get a lot of rough decisions in that second test match. That's why I sympathise with them.

But only to an extent as decisions go against everyone. It's just the way sport is.
