The venues and dates for the ODI series between the Netherlands and PlanetCricket have today been annunced. The matches are to be played in England due to a lack of facilities in Holland. The venues and dates are:
Monday 18th August:Edgbaston, Birmingham
Wednesday 20th August:County Ground, Bristol
Thursday 21st August:Trent Bridge, Nottingham
Friday 22nd August:Grace Road, Leicester

These debutants will play their first series in grounds that have hosted international matches.

It didn't start well for PC as captain Kieron Tierney lost the toss and his side were put in to bat at an overcast Edgbaston. The openers, Flintstone and Bhat went out with great expectations. Stelling and Schiferli opened the bowling for Holland. Stelling has, in his three overs so far, been expensive, getting hit for 16 runs. Schiferli, however, has been economical, giving away only four runs from his two overs.
