PCCS 2.1.0 Thread - UPDATED Download link on post#326

i'm not being greedy rahul, it's just that at the moment, we have to create our teams in PCCS and in Cricksim, whereas if Sohum released an early beta version of a multi-day sim, it would make things so much easier.

Anyhow, take your time Sohum because the sim is very good anyway at the moment.

One other problem i have found through testing my database is that if a match ends in a tie, the team batting second, i.e. the chasing team, is declared the winner, maybe you need to implement a super-over simulator, or declare the match as a draw.

@rahul, i can send you the db, but it's not perfect and as it has been created for my story, the england squad is not the one that was in the real-life tournament, because as i am managing England in my story, i have a different squad.

The Multi-day isn't going to be done anytime soon. Right now my priority is with setting PCCL up.

The tie issue is one I'm aware of. Should be a pretty easy fix.

would it be fixed by a super-over simulator, or would it just say match drawn.

also, could you change the bowling selection so that on the line-up selection screen, you highlight which bowlers you want to bowl. I don't know how easy that would be to implement, but it would make things a lot easier for those who are running a league.

ODI match will be tied. T20 will probably be decided by super over. All those are embellishments which I am not prioritizing highly right now.

Nope, this is something I won't be implementing.

It's not only batting rating. It also is bowling rating and pitch selection. Like I've said, I can't troubleshoot anything from a scorecard. If you want me to look at it seriously, give me a log file. None of my test simulations have thrown up results like that.

Here it is mate..

The Log File Is Attached!!

to be honest, that could just be a bit of a freak result, you are bound to get at least one unusual result.

one other problem i have found, (PCCS 2.0) is that on the scorecards, and you can see this in rahuls cards above, is that on the batsmen's boundaries, it says chanderpaul hit 38 4's and 8 6's, yet on the bowling card, it doesn't have those 44 boundaries, it only shows a few. I don't know why this is, but you need to fix it as it is a major problem because people can see it, it's not like it's something behind the scenes, if you display that scorecard, its a problem.

are they, oh, sorry sohum, i thought they were the number of boundaries conceded of their bowling, sorry mate. :doh

So when can we expect a release of statistic oriented sim?

Things are coming along nicely. No need to rush, you are doing a fine job Sohum. :yes

I have started using Window 7 few days ago. Installed PCCS on window 7 but I am facing a problem with it. I can't even play a match or create line-ups. I downloaded a clean db file but still the PCCS gets crashed when I create a new team. I have net framework 4 installed as well. Here is a screenshot of my problem
