Incentives;

Before the bidding begins, I just want to announce a few planned prizes for the season. The exact details might change as the season progresses, but only in minor ways.

Highest run scorer - 1 million vCash
Highest wicket taker - 1 million vCash
Man of the Match - 150,000 vCash
Each century - 100,000 vCash
Each 5-wicket haul - 100,000 vCash

This might have to be paid out of off-shore bank accounts and hedge funds once the Socialist Republic of Planetcricket has had its way with fatcats.

Well, by the time the PCPL season is over, most of my vCash will have dissipated as salaries and awards for the team members anyways, so I'm not too concerned.

It looks like there really isn't any purpose to making deals with players earlier than the draft. It allows you to have a list of players that you could try to select, but nothing is for certain. For all we know, I could be playing for some other team and Abhas could be playing for ours. Only your spot is guaranteed, since you've been nominated as the captain.

I think it would be much easier to bid for regular members by just posting the team we want, and if there is a conflict between players, either player choice or a bid-off should decide it.
