Piano tips/sheet music

Turn the audio down a bit, my camera records really loudly. Anyways this is the theme to Schindler's List minus 3-4 measures of the bridge.

I have to say that's pretty good for someone who hasn't had lessons.

A few points, are you purposely changing the tempo? Because there's one part that's played twice that isn't in the correct rhythm. Also, it seemed like some bars were skipped out - are you playing by memory or using the music?

It was a really good effort, and I think you should try focus on the dynamic and tempo markers (dim., rall., p, etc.). I'm not sure whether you're purposely making the right hand louder than the left or if it's because of where the camera is positioned, but that's a good skill to have. It took me a while to learn how to make one hand louder than the other but is very useful.

The camera is on the right speaker, the recording does not do justice to the softness of the song.

Ill have to work on the rhythm a bit as well :)

Anyone have sheet music for Canon in D?

I have a hardcopy somewhere... I'll see if I have a digital copy too

Chewie added 3 Minutes and 44 Seconds later...

Nope can't find it. Can't find my hardcopy either. If you do some searching round the 'net you'll find it though.

Sweet thanks for trying.

I will post my version of River tomorrow if you don't mind critiquing that as well.

Maybe I should try to play those pieces :) They do sound rather nice. I haven't played all year though :facepalm

:clap:clap.
Good work Mark, You played very well:).

And About me, dunno to what I'm going to play belongs to, I just was taught only 1 lesson on playing key board in westren style (i.e, with two hands, and playing as per the clef.) All they taught me in school was Indian songs, with Organ as tone:p.

And here is me playing the first two bits (of Sheaf of Melodies).
tough luck, the audio and video modulation has not been properly done:(.

Thanks a lot mate:)
TBF, I just know that bit:yes:p.

And now I've got solid hollies for about 4 months. So, I'm getting that book, decoding them and learn those:D.

Finally got sheet music for Canon in D for an arrangement I like. Starting on it today :)

Pachelbel? I love that piece. I need to see if I can make a recording of me playing that! One of my favourite pieces.

Nice. I will see what I can do, but I am not quite sure when I can post a video.....ah, nice arrangement. Will need to practice it a few times to get it nicely. Give me a couple of days: its 01:15 in the morning here and I need to be up in 6 hours so not much chance tonight!
