Piano tips/sheet music

So just had a quick go at the music, played the first few lines. Its quite fun to play actually, sounds very musical :)

It is a beautiful piece. If you can listen to the original for small chamber orchestra its absolutely enthralling (nice word!). I will have a practice on it and see if I can record something tomorrow!

This is the version I think: bit wooden the way it is played but gives an idea.

That's an interesting arrangement for the piece, my one is much different. That one cuts out quite a bit of the introduction, and the bass part in the fast moving section is much more moving.

The original version though is definitely great.

Wow that version sounds beautiful. I could never dream of playing that, think Ill stick with my dumbed down version

Gonna have a shot at learning Canon in D as my first ever classical song. Sounds amazing, normally I never listen to classical music but this is one that I actually think sounds incredible.

Okay this is the piece I am working on at the moment. It is by the great man him self J S Bach and is a well known piece. The trick is is to make sure the left hand comes out really well. It is easier than it looks!

I will see if I can upload me playing it and in the meantime here is someone who plays it rather well!

Enjoy.

Really if it's a Prelude & Fugue you should be playing both parts :p

It looks pretty easy but still nice to listen to :) Some of Bach's other Prelude & Fugues can be terribly difficult ><

Very true but it is usually played apart, and the fugue is a bit boring to be frank.....it is quite easy but satisfying to play and hear.

On the note of P's Cannon in D, this is just a nice bit of comedy about that song. :)

Got a day off

going to make some recordings today, playing around with the camera to see where I get the most balanced sound.

Will record my progress in Canon in D so far and a final complete performance of River.

Look forward to the critiques.
