It has to be him imo. Like bro was averaging 22 in domestic and literally so low in grade cricket and never performed well in any BBL game he was memed for it. Now he's scoring a lot of runs and fast too

Sutherland and him both, Renegades have finally reaped the reward of backing youngsters who didnt deliver enough . Sutherland literally captain now and solid AR in domestic. I feel it's the rise of renegades too to start from this from their usual slump.

They were,

2003 CWC Semi Finalists,
2007 CWC Runner Up,
2009 WT20 Runner Up,
2010 WT20 Semi Finalists,
2011 CWC Runner Up,
2012 WT20 Runner Up,
2013 Champions Trophy Semi Finalists

Then 2014 WT20 is where they peaked and from there the team just slumped and their quality plummeted.

Nobody gave South Africa a realistic chance in this WC. The narrative surrounding them has been weird to watch and almost a bit too predictable. I would put Pakistan ahead of them in this proposed category. They’ve had some very poor results in this year and underperformed significantly.
