Yes it is, you wont go in as champion! The original league and the one just past count as the same tournament. The shield is its own, and this will be another separate tournament.

Although you should enter as no1 seed

Everyone is added, Briggs and I still havent been able to have a good chat about the finer details of this tournament, so sign ups are likely to continue till next week end

In case anyone has forgotten, here is the previous information release about this tournament, from the Future Tournament Plans thread:

"Planetcricket Battrick Championship
A league format competition. In the plans we have drawn up, we would like 2 divisions of 12, decided by Battrick Rankings, to play each other over a season. This would be more long term than the current tournaments. The structure has not been finalised yet."

Updates on this, we now have some teams to play with. We still havent confirmed the structure, and the league numbers will be edited to suit the amount of teams registered

If this happens, would there be a promotion-relagation system, or would the leagues be re-drawn every time based on the up-to-date rankings?
