Right, here are the details!

There will be 2 leagues of 12 teams. 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. Promotion and Relegation will be 3 up, 3 down. The relegated teams go straight down. The top 2 teams from Division 2 go straight up. The teams in 3rd to 6th play a playoff match, 3rd v 6th, 4th v 5th. The winners of those games play each other and the winner is promoted. At the same time as that, in division 1 1st to 4th will have a playoff to decide to Champion. 1st v 4th, 2nd v 3rd. The winners play each other for the championship. The 1st places team in division 1 will still be counted as league champions.

To decide the divisions, we took the rankings table and split it in half. The top 12 are the higher ranked teams and the bottom 12 (including unranked teams) are the low ranked teams. We then randomly drew 6 teams from each section to be in each division. This is so each division has an interesting mix of teams and the promotions and relegation arnt predictable. Here are the divisions for the 1st season. The teams who were put in each league as a high ranked team are in bold.

Looking at my League, I'm aiming for a top 4 finish, which is really the wrong place to be because I'd have to fight my way through the play offs. In short, I have to beat one of Briggsey, Hassan and Zorax who I consider to be the three teams above or level with me

EDIT - Oh damn, just spotted the Calypso King;s squad. Maybe I'll settle for a play off spot

Exactly, 3rd-6th is where you don't want to be in Div 2

Just to add, matches will be home and Away, so 22 games in a season minimum, maximum of 24 if you are in a playoff.

Well, hopefully after the teams shuffle about after the first season, the way'll be clear for me to grab a top 3 spot outright next time around. Still, I might improve my squad enough, I'm selling Speare and the current bids at ?700,000!

The cup has about 3 rounds left, not sure, you'll just have to play your game at another date though as things stand.

Anyway, a mil is only 2 good players at the moment. You can't but 4 or 5 good youngsters, 10 nets isn't enough to keep that many balls in the air.

His wages were too high, he did a job, but i couldnt afford his wages at the rate I was going. He was only competant anyway in his primary, it was his secondaries that pumped up his BT, all of them bar wicketkeeping were over proficient.
