Official Rules For All Planetcricket Battrick Tournaments

These rules are to be followed at all times and failure to do so could result in your team being disqualified!

1. It is YOUR responsibility to check on the fixtures and who you will be playing next.

2. The team playing at home should challenge the person they will be playing.

3. Any new signings made during the tournament should be announced so everyone can see.

4. Points will be allocated as 3 for a win, 0 for a loss and 1 if the rare occurance of a tie happens.

5. Should a challenge not be made by the home team, the away team will get the 3 points for that game.

6. If a team is inactive for more than 3 games, they will be disqualified from the tournament.

7. Post the results of the game ASAP, the team playing at home should post these.

8. On going commentary is not needed, but I hope to have a section set up somewhere, where you can post live commentary if you wish.

9. Trying to rip off newbies by selling them crap players for large amounts is not allowed and can lead to punishment!

Updated Battrick Championship Rules:

1) All the above rules are to be followed

2) The Divisions will work in a 3 up 3 down method

3) The bottom 3 teams in Division 1 automatically go down

4) The top 2 teams in Division 2 automatically go up

5) The teams in 3rd-6th in Division 2 go into a playoff (home team listed first)
3rd v 6th
4th v 5th
Winners play each other and the winner is promoted

6) The team top of Division 1 will be the Division 1 Winner

7) The teams 1st-4th in Division 1 will play in a playoff for the Championship
1st v 4th
2nd v 3rd
The winners play each other and that winner wins the Championship
