I can compress the pDF then it's 30 MB, and not very "great" quality.

I don't know some other online mag websites make it around 13 MB with great quality.

What are you using to create the PDF? The most likely problem is that the PDF is just images of each page, rather than having actual text, the easiest way to tell is check if you can select the text in a PDF reader.

No in the ones I get the actual text is like 80 MB and stuff, very very good quality. I’m using Adobe Acrobot 8 Pro. BTW.

In the ones I am going to post in a while you cannot highlight the text and looks really bad. Anyways I have no option as the bad one is easy to download for our members 2 MB only!.

The PNG's un-combined are very small size and look very good too, but they are separate image files, I'm not sure what to upload?

Maybe the PNGs can be opened on Windows Photo Gallery?

Can I send the PNG in a zip file to someone who can combine them to a PDF without loosing the quality?

Doesnt photoshop let you save PDF files?

yes but when you combine them it's 80MB, anyways

guys the mag is best seen on..

Ctrl + L (Full screen)..

or in small 75%

100% looks bad.

Ba ba ba ba...I'm Lovin It...:)

One thing though, its all a bit cramped IMO...

downloading it now, ill have a read either tomorrow night or on thursday as its my day off, ill give feedback on what i think guys. and well done for actually getting this far, i had my doubts it would get finished when i first saw the threads, though it was onw of those ideas which would get forgotton about, so well done

Just had a flick through it, my initial thoughts is that its too cramped.

Obviously i need to properly read it, i'll end up printing it out and reading it in College tomorrow as i have nothing better to do on a break.

Oh Usy, could you respond to the PM i'm about to send :)

Well you need to embed the fonts with the PDF file for the size to be reasonable. If you have gone and made the whole of each page in Photoshop and then just used Acrobat to put them in a PDF you will never get the size down. You need to add text to the pages with the text tools in Acrobat (I haven't used acrobat in a long time so I can't give you detailed instructions), and you need to only use images when absolutely necessary.

It will most likely take longer to put together this way, but 18MB is way too high for a magazine that short (my maths textbook comes with a 7MB pdf file that contains the whole 500+ page book, small PDFs are possible when done right).
