Didn't have much to do there except take the winning catch. Chasing down a 300+ score against the Kiwis being only two down was a darn good effort.

I'd like to sign up too.

The Toss, captains are ready and the toss is about to take place...

New Zealand have won the toss and their captain McCullum has chosen to bat first.

Can't we have a non-performing player or two miraculously injured? :D

Unfortunately, even if a player is injured within the squad, we can't replace him.

New Zealand were given a sound start to their innings by Latham and Williamson, who took the score to 98 for two in the 15th over despite losing Guptill in the second over off @Mr Nokkaya Prathik. Latham survived a chance to wicketkeeper @Samuels Punani off Chelackal on 27 and had moved to 61 off 52 balls, with eight fours and two sixes, when falling to off-spinner @SamP Parkinson.

Taylor became second victim for Parkinson as he skied to long-on, but Williamson, who had moved confidently to 48 to make it 151 for three in the 25th over.

New Zealand had a bigger wobble on 173 when McCullum was caught at short mid-wicket off @aner13iopu4er Rafay and Anderson was caught at first slip off @themusketeer Aman Kumar after a quick-fire 36 off 22 balls. Neesham and Bracewell fall in consecutive overs and suddenly the hosts were 228 for seven.

Southee was stumped trying to come down off @EARAgAV Queen and Williamson was given LBW off Prathik, who had faced 91 balls and hit 12 fours before @greymatter776 Chelackal finished things off by picking up the wicket of Sodhi

Bowlers did a better job in this match. Seems like a good total chase. Our batsmen in a good form so it will be good to see how they respond.

PlanetCricket would have fancied their chances of chasing down a target of 264 on a good wicket but their hopes were undone as three run-outs and some accurate bowling saw them plunge to 236.

They got off to a good start, though, as skipper @themusketeer Aman Kumar and @Samuels Punani put on 38 for the first wicket but they lost their way after Aman was caught at mid-on off Boult for 12. @Umair2000 Orton was run out by McCullum’s brilliant pick up and throw for two runs. Bracewell dismissed @Varun Varun for 17, while Neesham took the wicket of Sathish for 31. @aner13iopu4er Rafay and @Mr Nokkaya Prathik were run out when sent back by @VC the slogger Chifundo going for a single.

Chifundo made his third ODI half-century but his eighth-wicket partnership of 60 with @EARAgAV Queen proved in vain.
