PlanetCricket’s openers laid a perfect platform with a partner of 53 from 66 balls before the @Samuels latter was caught behind off Bracewell, While the more fluent @themusketeer Kumar brought up a 69-ball fifty in the penultimate over of the bowling powerplay.

@Umair2000 Orton soon made it look inadequate as he contributed 41 to second wicket stand of 84 with a subdued Aman. Orton was quickly into his stride, taking two fours from Colin Munro's opening over. Anderson and Munro both absorbed heavy punishment, but paceman Boult struck with his first ball of second spell when Aman was bowled out of a yocker. Orton soon out run-out when Sathish sent him back.

@Varun Varun was also undone by a bowling change as he played on to Sodhi’s opening delivery. @VC the slogger Chifindo holed out behind off Boult. It was therefore left to Sathish, in the company of Rafay, to finish the job that Aman had started.

PlanetCricket managed only 29 in their five-over batting powerplay with Bracewell picking two wickets in his comeback over and Southee finishing things by picking another couple of wickets.

The hosts stuttered as Tom Latham struggled to time the ball, but Guptill got the innings going after he was promoted up the order by lifting @Mr Nokkaya Prathik for six over long-on. Latham grafted for his 20 before falling to Rafay, while Guptill brought up a 37-ball fifty.

Guptill, who was eventually caught at mid-wicket attempting to pull @greymatter776 Chelackal, was given spirited support by Williamson who'd added 75 for the second wicket. Soon Williamson was caught behind off @EARAgAV Queen.

Ross Taylor made 8 before becoming Rafay's second victim. McCullum and Anderson also struggled to impose themselves but they put on 39 off 61 balls before McCullum getting caught at long-leg off Chelackal.

Anderson and Munro soon got out, both trying to finish things with Prathik picking wickets in this comeback over. Bracewell was given lbw trying to sweep Parkinson with Chelackal picking his third wicket.

Sodhi and Boult giving New Zealand a fighting chance. With 8 runs to win from two overs.

Wow a perfect final going on. Bowlers did a great job in making out a close match of this score. We can surely win
from this given point. Taking the last wicket should take up some couple of deliveries.
Let's do it.
