Playthrough: Australia

That is insanity

Plus I agree that this isn't a very good game at all. The amount of simple things that it cannot get right - like the glitch where a player's domestic high score cannot be lower than their international high score - are very frustrating, especially when they only really seem to change one or two things a year most of the time
Absolutely. I'm hanging out for the new Cricket Coach- it seems to be very well sorted indeed. But I'm still having fun playing test matches at least, so that's something.

And speaking of which...

450 conceded in the first innings. 5 for just over 100. At home. On a pitch with bounce listed as 'erratic'. Are we about to lose to this Pakistan attack?

One full day later they get their sixth wicket.

Take a bow Josh! In a must win we are chasing just 103.

@Aislabie, speaking of CC19 bugs...

I beat South Africa's NT in a Test series.... and got this

I got captures working again!

A couple of highlights from recent test serie:

Payne is another level: 3 hundreds from 3 innings against Zimbabwe (i know it's zimbabwe but averaging 150 at a SR of 75 is an achievement against anyone)

I've struggled to get a double ton... until this

A couple of other notable performances:

Ash Lane: The 22yo spinner got a debut... in India... because Lyon fractured his hand.... and took a 5 for on debut.
Mark Spence: 23yo opener, he averages 55 in Tests. Very much our Pujara, where Bill Payne is our Pant.
Cam Green: He's been a fourth spinner and a very good #6 with four tons including that 195.

TEST HATTRICK ALERT!

Now, the bowler. The big quicks of Starc or Cummins? The canny Nixon or Hazlewood? The world-class spin of Lane or Lyon? The all round skill of Green?

No.

Marnus.

True, but the batting was Irish so I think that pretty much balances out

Hattrick two! This time it's a bowler who deserves it. Whitehead is my next Mitch Starc.

Such a proud win. Middleton and Bell I put a lot of faith in and after a abject 2nd test for Middleton and 1st innings for Bell, they fought back so well. And then Whitehead's hattie and Parker being Parker. And a quicktime knock from the recalled David Warner

This is bad on face value for the Poms. It's worse than that. Root also got injured.

Is The Ashes over?

Whew.

Rowell is a bit like Shaun Marsh in that he often doesn't deliver but he's come in clutch when we most needed it.

Gilmour on Test debut played an innings that was almost like he'd been here for years.

Spence and Smith (at the age of 37!) also got three figures.
