The inaugural PPL moves to UAE

Due to the ongoing Terrorism in Pakistan,PPL management has decided to move The First Edition of PPL to UAE.

"It wasn't an easy decision to move such a big event from Pakistan but we have to do so due to increase in Terrorism here in Pakistan.None of the city is safe and in order to revive and mold the foreign players and team towards it is necessary to do so.We'll ensure all our people that if there will be any good situation here in Pakistan,then we will bring the Final of this big league in Pakistan."said by PPL Chairman,Mr.Aoun Muhammad.

All the matches will be divided between three venues i.e Abu Dhabi,Sharjah and Dubai.

Match schedule will be announce later on after the players draft.

The first tournament of this league will be a T20 tournament name as,
Pakistan Premier T20 Cup.

All teams will be divided in to two groups and each team will play two matches against each other before we have four semifinalist teams.

Prize money for this tournament will be 1 Milliion US $ which will be divided as
Winners: 350,000$
Runners up: 200,000$
Man of the Tournament: 150,000$
Best Batsman: 100,000$
Best Bowler: 100,000$
Best Fielder: 100,000$

Its Drafts Time

Domestic Players Drafts will start from 1st January 2010 at 10 am GMT.
All owners are requested to post their players in the social group after 10 am GMT.

There will be 6 Domestic rounds,in each round each owner can have two players of its own choice.Each round will ends after 24 Hrs.
In last round you can select 3 players.

A players list has been displayed on the first post can be helpful for you all but note that If you draft a player outside this list but that player is part of Pakistan Domestic Cricket,you can have it.

No ICL players who haven't submitted their NOCs to PCB can be eligible for this league.

International Players Drafts:
Their will be 7 rounds of this Draft.You have to select one player for first 5 rounds and in last 2 rounds you can select two.

International Players Drafts will start on 2nd January 2010 at 11 am GMT and will move parallel to Domestic players drafts.

Members who will be unable to select a player,will get player automatically after the end of each round.

Each owner have to select 17 players(13 Domestic,9 International)

Its your duty to select a Keeper otherwise your one International player will be replaced by a Keeper after the end of drafts.
