concentrate on cutting instead of believing that feathering will do every thing. If you really gonna want to learn cutting try to cut good without feathering.
Try to use pen tool more while cutting, Zoom it to a greater extinct and then give at least 15min to a cut.

I wasn't sure before. Now I am. You are feathering your cuts way too much DR9. Like Aoun said, just zoom in more when using the pen tool. and make the gap in between each point smaller.
