This game is fantastic, i am AC Milan on 4* on Master League, KAKA is marvelous, just a shame that the strikers suck. Gilardino, Ronaldo, Inzaghi and Pato arent exactly impressive. Gilardino is my first choice. If you ignore the graphical glitches and the lack of game modes (hasnt got the international cup qualifying mode, it hasnt got another mode that's on the PS2 and PC versions and the edit mode is greatly watered down.) the game is fantastic, the actual gameplay is magnificent. Now that i am used to it i am really really enjoying it. If Konami can get the graphics sorted it would be a truely awesome game.

Has the PC version got the International Cup qualifiers? That was one of the best things about PES 6, they're idiots if they've taken that out!

I cba to patch yet, enjoying the gameplay atm Thanks, I will head over to Evo-Web and patch the game maybe tomorrow.
It is much better than the demo, on this I can play what I am good at, passing football. One-twos, chipped through balls, one touch passing, lobs etc. I like my football to look good and you can do exactly that on PES 2008. You can also do some nice looking skills and some good runs.

I got a question : What the hell have Konami being doing for an entire year????
This is PES 6.2. Yes the gameplay is still its good old selve, but shouldnt they be then spending more time improving other parts of the game? such as graphics, presentation and for gods sake, the MUSIC lol. Its all still the same! not to mention the online issues.

Its still a fantastic football game. But not alot has changed warrenting my 100 bucks. I thought id never say this BUT i rekon Fifa might of pipped Pro evo this year.....just.

I think the graphics are actually awesome, most the player faces could not be any better...

Good player faces doesnt make the graphics awesome. Granted, the player faces are simply superb but the overall graphics are nothing to shout home about. Fifa is far superior in the graphics department, except on the faces, where EA still seemed to struggle on Fifa 08. The game is a very very good game though, i am now thoroughly enjoying it. I scored my first goal from outside the area aswell Friday night, twas online against a mate of mine. Ball was cleared out of the box, came to Pirlo who took a touch and blasted it into the top corner. Was a cracking goal.

I'm pretty annoyed today, I was listening to this week's Football Manager podcast, check it out by the way on itunes. They have a competition every week and they said last week that they'll be giving FM 08 (which i dont need anyway) and PES on any platform out for the competition next week. Anyway, it turns out they meant the competition just gone, and only one person enterered! I could have had a free copy there!

Good player faces doesnt make the graphics awesome.

But the textures do...

The PS3 doesnt use the shader model used on my Graphics Card, so I can tell you right now this game looks a hell of a lot better than FIFA. The dirt specs on the socks arent in the console versions, and they also use a lesser shader for the faces.

Does anyone know how to make the controls for the PC version normal rather than the Xbox one? I don't fancy adapting to bloody Xbox buttons.

Well, theres a little fix which changes the 360 controller to a PS2 one. The reason for the 360 is because the PC version is a port of it.

Look on evo-web for the patch, I have to dash.

I have a real problem with late goals. I was playing Olympiacos the other night in Division 2. They are 2nd and I am 8th. I held for 90 minutes at 1-1. In added time, they score. And it happens a lot!
