Please help me out! I bought a brand new E-GPV controller 2 days back and though I am able to scroll through the menu's in the Don Bradman game I am just NOT ABLE to use any of the controls in the game. The driver for the gamepad was installed by Windows and I tested the gamepad . All the buttons work on the computer but I just cannot play the game at all. Please let me know what to do.

Are you able to use the controller in other games?

Play in Analog mode(Analog Button should turnon)

Where did you buy the controller from? Did it come with a disk? If yes, then have you tried installing the drivers from the disk?

Make sure you have the latest drivers from their website

As you note it doesn't work in other games, this is not a problem with DBC but rather your PC recognizing the hardware or interpreting what to do with the controller input.

Perhaps open a ticket with the manufacturer?

The disk was so small and it fell into the drive. I tried automatically updating the driver from windows.I think that is the core problem...

You need the official driver of that controller. Although the Windows automatic driver updater does a decent job, on rare occasion it doesn't install the correct driver.

you can try those.( XPADDER or XBOX360 CE MU ).

I installed XBOX360 CE MU .The game is behaving in the same manner. The only thing I can do as a batsman is stand rooted to the crease and wait for the ball to hit my bat and then take a run. Yes , surprisingly the only thing I can do is take runs!!! and use the menus!
