PS2 Shock Controller Problem

Does anyone know why when I bat with the PS2 version I play sometimes play backfoot shots when pressing the x button and front foot shots when pressing the triangle?

It doesn't happen all of the time but I can't work out how to get the batsman to play the shot I want

Could it be a problem with your controller?? Do you have a second controller that you could try it with?
What level are you playing on as well as I have heard that on easy it has a shot selection aid as well.

Cheers Darren. I'll try this tonight and let you know. It certainly happens in easy but I'm not sure about medium or hard.

Its because you've got it on easy. you have to have it on medium or hard if you want to play every shot.

have u created a profile and saved the controller config?

It's just cause you've got it on easy- the game selects front/back foot for you.

Cheers everyone. Checked it out last night and it was because I was on easy. Another thing I learnt was that if you reload a saved game but change the difficulty level the saved game still plays on the original setting.
