PS3 v Xbox 360 - Which should I get?

What should I get? Why?

All I hear is that PS3's are better for most things and stuff, but I am leaning towards an Xbox cause it's cheaper and stuff.

I am good with PlayStation controllers, should I take this into account or is an Xbox controller easy to get used to? I have played an Xbox once before, BTW.

Also wait till 18th August. PS3 slim might be coming and price are set to drop. Less chance of slim PS3 but price drop has 90% probability.

Simply, Xbox 360. Its a proper gamers console. None of this expensive blu-ray crap.

It has its faults, but as far as faults go, theres only RRoD. You've got 3 yr warrenty so no need to worry!

I for one, don't see much difference between the two, games have been of similar quality on both, so it all comes down to choice of game titles. The RROD issue is a big one however and pisses off most gamers.

But to say that the Xbox 360 is a "proper gamers console" just because it can only do that, and without backing it with facts, is wrong.

If you've got a Full HD TV, get the PS3. Not only is an excellent gaming console, but some films/documentaries on Blu-ray are incredible. My own experience. My 360 lasted 45 minutes and went RRoD. My PS3 has lasted well over a thousand hours already. I can use it for high quality gaming, watch things like Youtube/BBC iPlayer in Full HD and as mentioned watch brilliant films. As said, wait a bit as PS3 prices may be coming down.

360 are just too unreliable for my liking.

ps3 , graphics on games designed for ps3 are toned down for 360.

Also you will have a Blu Ray player. its amazing and a world apart from DVD

As i own both the consoles i will suggest you some info.

My view go for ps3 if your budget permits because it gives you alot.

Every Xbox 360 owner I know has had it and you will get it. I hate Xbox. I had it within the first few months of owning it. They claim to have fixed it with the latest model but they haven't.
