Perhaps, you may also wanna read this part in the post you have quoted

because let's admit it, claiming survivor and that too a neutral one at that, is a bit risky early in the game. Perhaps if you hadn't role claimed early in the day, someone else might have been in the firing line, which would have benefited you. Why did you feel the rush to role claim so early in the day, that's my question. It's very important to know your tactics before even making the slightest of the judgments on your role claim.

Second one is Varun who has completed a U-turn on whether to lynch User. Both of this doesnt mean they are mafia, but certainly things that have caught my eye

Err...how do I complete a U-turn when I never said I wanted to lynch User on Day 1? I said I cannot trust a Survivor, but that doesn't mean I'm going to lynch him straightaway.

I have done enough to let you guys know who scum is.

You mean Aditya? I would actually let him go now because he does have a habit of going aggressively after people for no reasons at all or (apparently) purely intuitive reasons. Can never tell.

The Don has said he'll give it a go by subbing in for Mark. Haven't been able to find anyone else though. He's also a new player, but I have a little more faith that he'll be able to pick it up rather than some of the other recent newbies

Give him until tomorrow evening to have a read over the thread and ask me some questions/read up on the rules. Then we'll go to night phase. Sorry about the delays, but with two people unable to contribute, the balance is affected.

Right the_don has now subbed in for Mark. He's normally active at night by British time, hence I'll give him until tomorrow to get up to speed then we can get started on night actions with a fullish cast (this isn't to say he has a night action, merely that there is at least a full 11 players in the game during night [10 if someone is lynched obviously ]) Considering Pallu playing until/unless someone subs in for him. Even if he just picks a name out of hat and writes "lynch:randomplayer" at least he's in the game

Well you claimed he was hiding something, which most of us havent doubted. You cheekily mentioned my scenario and the tone of your post indicated that you wouldnt mind lynching him off. Its not anything solid, or anything that even proves you are mafia, but I was just pointing things out as I saw them.

I am still undecided. I see the points for and against lynching User, but really cant come to making a decision. Thats why I am trying to pick a stronger candidate by trying to dig anything I can in any post I see

Well at least I have some clues from the people wanting to keep the supposed survivor around. Zhuorb and BKB have caught my eye so far, bit too undecided for my liking. Abhas being consistent with last game and Varun I'm not too sure about, but leaning town atm based on his tone, so to speak, compared to last game.
