Michael Clarke is averaging 50 in his test career after scoring another wonderful 100 under intense pressure, he really deserves this. What a wonderful technician he is!

Congrats Pup! :D

Michael Clarke is a quality and more consistent batsmen these days. I expect him to bring his average up to about 52 or 53 tbh.

Best batsmen in the Australian team ATM, he's turned himself into a world-class batsmen. He has to go on and make a big test century still though, his highest score is the ton he made on debut.

Clarke has really come of age since the last Ashes series in England. Plays a lot more sensibly and knows his game well. I agree he is our best batter atm, he is now doing the Ponting role by making match saving 100s.

Very impressive. I always thought he would be in the Mark Waugh mould and just be a batsman who is very good to watch, hit a couple hundreds here and there but never be a player who averages 50.

Hopefully he keeps this up.

Has made himself into one of the better batsmen in world cricket for mine. He's exactly the kind of cricketer England would love to have. He has the style and class of an Ian Bell, with the mental strength, bottle and fielding of Paul Collingwood. He's brilliant to watch at the crease, his cover drives are beautiful to watch. He's almost as pleasing on the eye as Belly, have enjoyed watching Clarke bat immensely. Glad he's the one scoring runs and not Katich or Hughes, both horrible batsmen to watch.

How dare you even put Ian Bell in the same sentence as Clarke?!
