Just like to point out that we are actually using the sky sports overlay not C9 overlay but I have made the overlay myself to make it look like C9 :happy

Ian Healy: Well this 10 overs belonged to England as they got a bit of a strangle hold on the Asutralians. Flintoff brought on Monty Panesar and Paul Collingwood to take the pace off the ball. First ball from Panesar got the crowd jumping out of their seats. A short of a length delivery some how missed the edge of Adam Gilchrist's bat!

But Monty's two overs then fell too pieces, conceding two huge sixes to Adam Gilchrist who soared onto 77! But Mr.Reliable produced the goods as he usually does, bowling Adam Gilchrist through the gate! The slower ball yorker did for Gilchrist as he went for the straight drive way too early.

The Man in next for Australia was Mike Hussey.

Innings - 37
Runs - 1388
Not Out's - 19
Average - 77.11
Highscore - 109*

From then on Panesar and Collingwood tied Langer and Hussey down. The scoring rate dropped to 5.77. The score with 20 overs to go is 173/3.

Australia 173/3
30 overs bowled
Langer 23
Hussey 8

Australia on top here. Well batted by Gilchirst but he needed to go on with it and get his century.

Why is Langer in the ODI team? Very strange stuff.

Ian Chappell: Well another good 10 overs from England as again as in the last 10 overs Flintoff just used Monty Panesar and Paul Collingwood. They both finished the 40 overs with 10 overs straight. Again England kept the scoring down as no over went for 10 runs or more. With only limited scoring areas Australia had to be content with singles. Monty Panesar got the break through in the 34th over dismissing Langer for 29 from 52 deliveries.

The next man in was Andrew Symonds!
symondsincd7.png

Innings - 123
Runs - 3863
Not Out's - 23
Average - 38.63
Highscore - 156

Hussey hit one of the shots of the day past point and the deep out fielders to the fence but that was about the only the thing the Aussies got to cheers about in the 10 overs.

husseycutshotxk2.png

Australia 211/4
40 Overs bowled
Hussey 24
Symonds 13

Australia can get to a high score around 300+! England need wickets! Great Work trev!

ianhealysmallpichn7.jpg
Ian Healy: Well, Well, Well a very poor last 10 overs from the Australians as after being 211/4 with 10 overs left, they lost their last 6 wickets for 17 runs. First to go was Hussey bowled by Flintoff for 31.

In came Watson.
watsoninov2.png

Innings - 37
Runs - 734
Not Out's - 13
Average - 30.58
Highscore - 79

Out went Watson! For just 11 bowled by Lewis. Good inswinging delivery went between bat and pad and clipped the top of leg stump.

The next batsman in was Brett Lee.
leeinlr0.png

Innings - 64
Runs - 707
Not Out's - 25
Average - 18.12
Highscore - 57

With the score still on 248, Symonds innings then came to an end at 27 being caught at Deep Square Leg off a pull shot by Lewis from the bowling of Flintoff.

Brad Hogg is at number 9.
hogginyv3.png

Innings - 52
Runs - 620
Not Out's - 22
Average - 20.66
Highscore - 71*

Hogg came in and hit a few boundaries but he went for one too many and missed a straight one from Flintoff. He was gone for 8 with Australia at 256/8!

hoggoutlg7.png

Stuart Clark next.
clarkinol0.png

Innings - 5
Runs - 42
Not Out's - 2
Average - 14
Highscore - 16*

Lee then went for 4 off 2 balls bowled by Flintoff trying to smash a off stump yorker out of the ground. Bracken lasted just 1 ball smashing the ball down Pietersen's throat at deep midwicket from Lewis.

Australia in the end made 265 all out from 48.3 overs. Gilchrist top scoring for the Aussies with 77 and Flintoff finishing with figures of 10 overs, 1 maiden, 61/4 and Lewis picked up 3 wickets as well.

Australia, got a fairly decent total. Some good bowling by England. Really good presentation, love the overlay. :)
