Ian Chappell: Well another good 10 overs from England being able to pick up 61 runs without losing a wicket. Bell and Strauss have motored onto 50 and are still going strong. Bell just started hitting boundaries after boundaries after boundaries. And got too his 50 in just 52 deliveries including 5 fours and 2 sixes.

Strauss looked also in good nick playing more a solid role rotating the strike and getting occasional boundaries. He got too his 50 in 54 balls with 7 fours and 1 six.

England need to keep up at a steady rate whilst keeping wickets to be able to get in with a really good chance of chasing down the runs in the last 10 overs!

England 166/1
30 overs bowled
Strauss 60*
Bell 55*
Cook 36

Nice to see England picking up the pace. This presentation appears to be getting better and better. Well done. :)

nice graphics here from both of you. england looking pretty good at the moment

England probably favourites from here with just 1 wicket down so the Australians need a wicket to slow them down a bit. Good story boys.

Its a great story Trev & Culli! England looking strong atm!

We're sorry for lack of updates guys, we just haven't found the time as we have both been busy being out or sporting events and what not.

Updates will be happening next week.

Ian Healy: England are getting ever so near to this Australian target here at the MCG, needing only 13 runs from the next 10 overs to win. However, they have lost the wickets of Bell and the firing Kevin Pietersen.

Bell got out by playing a silly attacking cover drive after he seemed to be settled. It was a rookie mistake from the talented batsman and it gave his wicket away.

Kevin Pietersen was the new man in, and he wasn't going to look for the singles. He was only dealing in boundaries. A slog sweep off the bowling of Watson was the pick of his shots. Pietersen and Strauss were working well together, gaining a partnership of 24 and taking quick singles.

Pietersen, when he was looking strong, suddenly lost his wicket due to a bad piece of luck. He managed to top edge a pull shot that ballooned to a deepish cover position, where Ricky Ponting made a good diving catch.

The next man in was Paul Collingwood
