I imagine it would be hard for Cullington. There is a lot of fast bowling talent, and Johnson/Bracken is looking in top form. :p

Meeting the Boys and Coach

We then went and had a drink at the bar. We spoke to Andy Bichel and James Hopes. Bichel came up with some interesting stuff about how to handle yourself playing international cricket our just professional cricket. he gave us a few tips on the game and he said he was generally impressed with our bowling and batting this morning. Stu went off to speak to Andrew Symonds will I stayed and bought Andy a drink or two. I then asked him about Queensland and what it's like to live around here. He talked about the nice areas of Brisbane and other places and spoke about the night life. He then mentioned a good night club he recommended but I did make sure he wasn't sending us to a gay bar or anything. We then said "gooday mate" in our awful aussie accents and left to check out Brisbane. We travelled to Brisbane from the suburb of Wolloongabba across the Pacific Motorway and into Brisbane itself. We headed down to the beach in Wynnum and just chilled and got a few fosters.
As the night went on we went and checked out the night club Bic told us about. We got in there and immediately Stu found a bird and we went over there. We got chatting with her and her mates and Stu went down for a dance while I stayed with the drinks. The night wore on and the relationship between Stu and the girl named Michele got more intimate and they eventually were all over eachother. Me and her mate Rachel decided to head back and I gave her a lift home to Indooroopilly where she lived. I dropped her off and then headed back to our house in Moorvale not that far from Indooroopilly. I got in and watched a bit of telly before going to bed. I thought to myself what a first day it had been at our new home in Moorvale and meeting the players and staff at the Queensland Bulls Cricket Team.
I just lay there and thought "It doesn't get much better than this."

Why you sound suprised about that? It's just another night for me ;)

All joking aside, we're thoroughly enjoying Brisbane and we can't wait to prove ourselves :D

Nice. Nice to see that Andy Bichel is being kind to you. Shame Bracks wasn't invited to have a drink too. :p

Another late night for me and Trev, but we were up early enough to get in shower and head up to the GABBA again to see what was in store for us today. When we got there, Trev driving of course, we headed straight to the dressing room. Only a few players were in there, Hayden amongst them. He said to us that we better sit down becuase the rest of the lads and coach would be here any minute. About 5 minutes later, the whole squad was there and coach sat us all down because he had some news for us. He said that tomorrow we'd be having a pre-season game against a team to be confirmed later. I looked at Trev and he was already looking at me. We both smirked at each other, this could be our chance to prove ourselves in a competitive game. After this it was back out to the nets like yesterday, I could get used to this, a night of partying and all day cricket the next day, heaven! Trev was looking in strong form today, even hitting Bichel back over his head forcing everyone to duck. I wasn't bowling too badly myself, even having a decent shout for Hayden LBW. I was told it was just sliding down leg. If the nets are anything to go by for me and Trev, we should be in for a great year! After the nets, I had a quiet word with Trev. We both thought we were good enough to get our chance in this friendly. Trev said he felt in good nick after both his net sessions, and I had to agree with him. He couldn't have timed his run of form better, just as we join with Queensland. We both decided to stay a bit longer in the nets, just us two. After all, if we're gonna be successful this year, we're gonna have to stick together.

well it's only a friendly so we will probably get picked :p

but in most of the Queensland matches it'll be wait until someone's out of nick until we get in.
and if we are out of nick then we will get dropped :)

cheers for the comments and brilliant work culli :cheers :clap
