Rameez Raja.. A real embarrassment for all in the commentary box!

Arun Lal speaks more about birds and tigers than he does about cricket. He should apply for job in Animal Planet.

The whole IPL is a shambles, but that's for another day. The commentary is laughable though. My blood boils when I hear about "DLF Maximums" and "Citi Moments Of Success".:mad:

Yes...Danny Morrison always says, thats a "DLF'er",its really boring to hear City moment of success, DLF maximum...really boring,at least they speak this for 10 times in 1 match...and if there are two matches on a particular day then 20 times we hear this boring stuff

Yes...has he played any matches for India? (tests or ODI) If yes when? according to me he has played domestic cricket...

Rameez was part of the Sky Commentary team in 2006, as well as 2001, 2003, and 2004 (ICC Champions Trophy)
Standalone or as part of a touring Pakistan side? What I'm saying is Rameez is just very rough around the edges and that there are plenty of subcontinent commentators around who're miles better than him. Even Farookh Engineer, who's a part-time commentator at best, stepped in during India's tour of England and he was a pretty smooth talker.

Rameez is one of the best and hard working commentators.......

Harsha Bhogle Is the worst commentator..ex...Batsman hits a six .....He will say

"Oh my God that's a six and it is outside the boundary and hit with a bat".

I'd like to see an actual reference for that instead of some hypothetical occurrence in your imagination.

ramij raja is a good commentator some times he dont give good commentary but he is perhaps one of the good commentators in commentary box

Very true. Farookh's English is quite polished, and whatever he does- he at least speaks some sense.

More Rameezism:

"I know it's cold but you don't have to look like an animal."
Not quite Sydneygate, but close. Ramiz Raja gets a zing in at Danny Morrison, who is in a beanie, immediately after Ravi Shastri accused Morrison of wearing a "monkey cap"

"It's the other one, just like the other one."
This time, even Ramiz Raja doesn't know what he is talking about

"Amit Mishra can spin the ball."
Ramiz Raja makes a shocking revelation

"I'm not an Incredible Hulk, like Danny Morrison. I'm a thin guy from the subcontinent."

Ramiz Raja tells the world just what he is

:crying

Dude you are not a bloody A level English teacher OK
Who cares what he saids because you just sound like a Idiot to be honest

Rameez Raja is stupid most of the time.... As many have said here, he sounds hilarious and funny most of the time while commenting. But yeah, Arun Lal takes the cake for being the most funniest commentator, then Rameez!

Wish I dont listen to both these guys anymore!

Do you really need to be such a punk to live up to your name?

After hearing Lal's stupid explanations and commentaries during the semis and the final of the IPL, I've come to the conclusion, Lal = Raja = Laxman Shiv Ram Krishnan

I haven't heard that either, but Harsha has to be the worst commentator to ever sit in the commentary box. Honestly, his cricketing acumen is very poor to say the least.

:D:D:D

Thats funny. Harsha is one of the best from India. His knowledge of cricket is far better than many from India who are not cricketers. He doesnt act like a clown or does not resort to unnecessary humor to entertain the audiences.

In which match did Harsha say this? Are you sure if it was Harsha (and not Rameez Raja/Arun Lal/Sivaramakrishnan)? I am 100% sure that it cant be Harsha Bhogle at all

Man, you are a fantastic comedian. :clap Why don't you join a comedy reality show? You will get the first prize for sure.

I respectfully disagree. Harsha is miles better than Rameez Raja, in my opinion.
