Random Thoughts

I have ad blocker on most all my devices and stream my tv and movies, so I haven't seen any ads in a long time (if you don't count the ads that are on billboards and posters)

Me too. You forget the beauty of YouTube with no ads until you have to use your phone and it feels like you're back in the middle ages watching ads

Any excitment for the new Harry potter game - lots of buzz about it? Hope its not another No mans sky situation
No mans Sky is amazing as our old member Dutch pointed out.

I have a DNS blocker and vanced YouTube app that blocks the ads on my phone. It's a shame vanced is no longer being developed I hope there's an alternative soon because I heard it will stop working soon

Have some thoughts in my head regarding cricket. Anyone interested to hear via PM?

Is it just me or do most folks keep the original box that the phone came in knowing very well that it's not going to be used, like ever. Just throw it away.
These days we hardly have nothing other than mobile and sim ejector in the so called eco friendly boxes.

Funny that they give the reason as being eco friendly but then the customer needs to buy the charger/earphones separately which again add to the overhead (extra card boxes, transporting those boxes etc) thereby defeating the very purpose it was implemented for.

I got to know about @NILAYSHAH60 passing away today.

The whole day it was on the back of my mind, man used to interact with us a lot. Had some great inputs of cricket discussion as well was a passionate guy and lover of cricket in general like all of us.

Knew he was physically ill but the man kept fighting and he is like inspiration to all of us.

Its been 9+ years since I have been on this forums have met some great people over the years and Nilay was one of them.

Life is a humbling experience is what I can say today a bit emotional day for me for a guy I only know in the forums but makes me wonder how connected we are as human beings just by chatting through texts.

I completely feel what you have mentioned here! This is the 3rd person on the forum I have lost and every time I hear this I feel numb even though I have not met anyone one of you or even seen how do you guys look except a few who are on my insta.

Please know that even though we might be supporting different teams, have different ideologies, different countries, different religions, I appreciate everyone of you whom I have interacted on this forum. I do not spend a lot of time these days but it has nothing to do with the forum and only to do with personal life.

Please feel free to reach me on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter. Message me and I will happily be available and make you part of my life. Life is too short and post pandemic I have learned this the hard way.
