Watched college Rugby on tv for the 1st time. It's rarely on tv. Only watched like last 3 min.

I picked it up pretty quickly. It was pretty exciting. Exciting finish. But i dont think I will watch it regularly. I am not saying I wont enjoy it, or it's not good, but I am just not hooked to it..

Played Snooker for the first time.It was quite fun and a bit difficult too in the beginning.I couldn't strike the in the first few tries.

Hit my first six yesterday. Was an absolute beast as well. Had hit the bowler for two fours off the first two balls, then got in a bit of trouble with a slower ball. After another dot I just thought to myself 'fling it, down the wicket I come'. The medium pacer bowled it straight and I met it on the full, smashing it well over wide long on and into the top of the trees just over the boundary edge. Ended on 20* (10) and managed to get us full batting points from the last ball of the innings.

Took 3-29 when we bowled and took a catch as well. We won comfortably, so a very good day in the end.

My batting average is now at 40 after 7 innings this season, and I've already surpassed the amount of runs I made last year. Really enjoying my cricket at the moment.

Too old for that I'm afraid, once you get past 16/17 there are no other levels other than club cricket to play for. Played district level (inbetween county and club) at U16 but after that there is nothing more you can do. The only way to get into professional cricket is to make it into the county team at 14 or 15, like a few of our youngsters.

Taken 27 wickets this season, joint top wicket taker with our Aussie overseas player. Took 49 wickets last season and I'm looking for around 75 this season.

This year it is very long. On a Sunday we started in early April and finish mid September. A bit shorter for Saturday's because there is no cup competition.
