Random Thoughts

I too had a horrible sleep. Housemates all went out but I couldn't be bothered, wanted an early night.

Just after they leave I get up to go to bed when water starts going everywhere. Some sort of leak with the bath upstairs and water seeping through in a bout 5 different places in the living room ceiling. Pretty bad flooding. Obviously due to the incompetent letting agent the stop tap is boarded up (the noticeboard where it is supposed to tell us where it was was blank, too. I only found it by basically tearing a plywood box apart on a hunch) the numbers we have to ring in emergencies were getting no answer, either.

Get to bed about 2 hours later than expected, exhausted after having to sort everything but too wired to sleep. Nod off aroudn 1.30/2ish onyl for the housemates drunken return to rouse me at 4.

Take an hour or so to get back asleep before being up at 7.45 for uni...

all in all and absolute weston-super of a night.

Well imagine what the place would have been like if no one had been home. The water would have been everywhere and lots of things would have been wrecked. Your housemates should be thankful :p

That does sound like a terrible night though. Should just skip some lectures :p

Do you get it where you wake up and you can't feel your arm at all and when you touch it it's gone cold? And it's hard to move it and when you do manage to it feels really weird? Or is there something wrong with me :/

Nope, but if I squish my arm under something I can feel pins and needles when I move it. What I think you have is poor blood circulation to your arm.

Has anybody here ever felt that when you are just about to go to sleep, you can feel that you are drifting off and your heart beat slows down and then stops, feels like you are just about to die then suddenly something zaps you awake. The most freakiest feeling ever. Happened to me continuously for about 2 weeks a while ago.

Needs amputating I think. I'd go to a doctor to confirm before you lop it off though.

:D

I loved the episode with the dog in the final series.

Just got off with the HR manager from new hotel, she sounded nice, I'm in the middle of nowhere, but some little villages around and a 2-mile walk to a train station for a couple of months if I want to go anywhere (not got car yet due to insurance being in excess of ?1k/pa.) But, got free wi-fi, so don't have to faff about with a dongle and it is a high class place. Main course prices are ?25-30 and it's got a reputation with celebrities, so I might see Zorax...
