Was going to lay down a few first scorers but in the end I've stuck ?30 on a Man Utd win and ?5 on a Tottenham win.

Odds have widened a bit on the United win since I put it down which has irked me slightly. If United win I'd net myself a healthy ?23.40 profit and if Tottenham win I'd be netting ?8.50 profit.

few 2 quid on lennon first goal and 2 quid on spurs half-time-draw fulltime at 14-1 and 12-1 respectively.

Few accumulators on the go too, doubt anything will come in.

I know how you feel. It gets on my nerves when you bring up Operation Sealion and people think you're talking about the SeaLife centre's new aquatic show.

Just like the people who didn't know who Karadzic was, when he was arrested last year (or was it 08?), didn't even know about the massacres that took place in Bosnia or who haven't heard of Agent Orange. I could go on, but it seems pointless.

Random thought - I hate breaking in shoes. We can put spacecraft millions of miles away, but we can't find a way of making shoes better than this. Pfft.

You could try some tricks people use to break in athletic equipment (Oil of Olay, baking it in the oven for a bit (baseball gloves)) but that might ruin the shoe.

Maybe get a dog to wear them and put him on the treadmill?

Do you know those kids that annoy you when they complain they didn't get an A well I did that today. I got a B in first part of GSCE exam in Mathss and its worth twenty percent and Im gunna have to retake it because I want to get A/A* overall in Maths. Nerdy much? :rtfl
