Luckily my parents will pay for 3 years of Undergrad (I have to graduate in 3 years...) but post grad I am on my own. And with the amount of cash doc's make I don't think the debt should be that much of a problem. There are a lot of residencies that cover your debt too, which is great.
Very different, yeah. I want to help people and science fascinates me so I am attracted to medicine, but I am also really into like world events, economics, etc. Plus it sounds a whole lot easier. I'll be making a lot less as a business guy though but will have a much more 'glamorous' life, aka will be able to travel all over the place and stay in swanky hotels on someone elses dime .
I dunno, it's an exciting stage in life. Just hope I don't make the wrong decision.
