Random Thoughts

But then they get a long holiday during the winter time which isn't too much fun

Would you rather go to lectures when it's nice and sunny outside?

this would be half year?, the school timings are weird for you guys. i'll be starting my last year in the first week of feb and end in early november.

We both start in the fall. That's Aug/Sept here and around Feb. down in the southern hemisphere I believe.

It goes Sept - June for us.

Today was the first day of my last semester of high school. I have reserved all the easiest classes of my high school career for this semester (Except gym):

1. Business Finance and Law
2. Photography
3. Bioethics/Adv Computers
4. Anatomy Physiology/AP Chem

Except Chem and maybe Bioethics, all the other classes are lolworthy. I literally slept in 3/4 classes today. Makes me wish I did this all along.
Photography is a class?

:noway

It's actually required. Well, we have to take an art credit, so I chose photography over things like Intro to Art, drawing classes, computer graphics, woodshop/metalshop. It's pretty fun actually, you get to learn photoshop stuff (which I already know thanks to PC days of the past!) and how to really tap into all the settings of a full fledged DSLR.

need to knock this excessive drinking on the head.

woke up in my mum's this morning after going to town last night. vague memories of being taken home in a police car and my card has been locked as I kept typing my pin in wrong.

not good.

burst into tears at one point too. genuinely think I may have some problems.

This semester is really driving me nuts already . Just 30 days old and with 3 unit tests of the 1st cycle officially over out of which i have already bunked 2 , a 4th exam in Control Systems awaits the day after tomorrow which i am truly not feeling confident of writing at all . 6 exams per Unit cycle and already 3 out of 4 exams gone should i bunk Control Systems . I could very well be in the 'MOST WANTED' list in EEE department by the end of this semester . Attendance reads a nasty 32 percent though lab attendance is decent with a 75 . Just preparing to make a deal out of the Control Systems teacher to guide me through the most important questions for the exam , else i am left with no other choice but to bunk . 3 cycles of unit tests where they take into account the best 2 performances which basically leaves me with heaps of pressure going to the next 2 cycles of UTs . And not to forget , the f-u-c-k-i-n-g record writing work - 3 labs which means 30 experiments of record writing alone !! Someone please kill me :(

Haha, I am just enjoying the end of exams break. The last few days werent as amazing considering most of my friends still had their exams but today all the Business students are free so we are going to do something tonight :D

I had an alcohol-induced cry at the weekend, too. Sad times.

Was drinking Friday/Saturday/Sunday, and (from what I can remember) had over 80 units of alcohol...

Waking up in your mum can never be good.:D

And to be fair your pretty much doing what most scousers do with there lives.......get pissed, get familar with the old bill.

Don't know if it's a good thing or not that I can't relate to either the excessive drinking or excessive studying that is being discussed in this thread.

Means you are vaguely normal in that you won't have died by the time you are 30 due to excessive drinking like Ben or Ste and that you won't have died by the time you are 30 because your heart gives out because you stress too much like Rohit ;)

I on the other hand seem to swing wildly between the two on a fortnightly basis, so I'm technically dead already. S'all good :thumbs
