Random Thoughts

Monday afternoons should get tweaked, two and half hours straight of Accounting then Business lectures.

I know someone will say they have a three hour lecture or something, but I struggle to concentrate for just an hour in the afternoon.

Basic Accounting, I'm only three weeks into my first year of uni, and I did no Accounting, Business or Economics at school.

Yea 101 is just concepts and theory, next to no numbers. My mentor quite enjoys it and he's only done year 11 accounting. But why did you have so much of it in a row :/

Criminal law is starting to get really good, the only subject I'm enjoying at the moment.

basic accounting is a joke, you should have no problem

Yeah, I've heard from everyone else who's done it how easy it is.

One hour accounting lecture at 2, then a one and a half hour business lecture at 3, both are in Fisher & Paykel (our biggest lecture theater). The accounting one's not that full, but the business one is absolutely full.

Stats is going good, it's an introduction to it, and I got an outstanding schol in it at school. :)

Oh I thought you meant 2 and a half hours of just accounting :p

2 and a half hours in a row isn't too bad. Some people have heaps more (mostly because they do science papers that have 3 hour labs)

FPAA's the same size as 098 I believe

2 and a half hours of just accounting. :facepalm

(FTR I have one hour of it a day from Monday to Thursday)

Everyone says F&PAA is the biggest, but like you said I don't think it's any bigger than some other ones.

wow that's impressive. I've never heard of anyone placing so high in such a large tourny. Had a friend end 30th in 3000 and that was a momentous occasion. Was a live tourney though

a friend of mine who i went to school with finished 12th in the largest poker tourney ever held in britain.

i was pretty unlucky near the end too. 16big blinds and it folded to me on the button, so I shove q10.

big blind has aces. only cashed for 293 dollars. top 27 got over 1000. (in fact 45-27 got 950 dollars) top 9 would beat my previous best cash. (9 was 5.3k) was only 10 players away from a 95 dollar pay jump too, but I think I have to make the shove.

1st was 80k. i outlast all of the full tilt pros who entered.

I won (well we split it 1st and 2nd) a tourney with over 3000 entrants once

so it seems. I'm debating getting into full tilt again, maybe we can play some cash games

I just rung my Japanese friend to make sure he was okay after the Tsunami and all he did was go on about his social life. Just kept going on and on about a huge rave

I recently started a cafe in japan. The business started off shaky but then the customers started flooding in.

yeah sure.

I have never really played cash though, so I'd be pretty poor.

i am a tournament specialist really.

as I speak I have just made the ft of a 90 man tournament without getting dealt ak once or a pocket pair over 88 in 107 hands.
