It was lucky it struck at that time, not only were most people in town working but also the school kids weren't walking around the streets.

Not really, especially not big ones like the one that hit America last week.

We do get a few storms that come down from the Pacific though, like the Tornado that hit today.

The company I worked for has just been taken over by Poundstretcher's and to refurbish the shop in time for our opening/reopening on Saturday I'm workin 10-6 Wednesday, 8-8 Thursday and 8-8* Friday.

I'm going to be tweaked, especially as we don't have a lift which means I'm going to be hauling stock up and down flights of stairs 78 pallets worth.

* With the proviso that we stay at the store until its ready even if it takes all night.
